    it's better to flash in dos mode. . .

    you need a floppy drive or your you need your hdd to be formatted in fat32 if you would like to locate the bios file there. . .

    if there is an accident and the bios is corrupted, it can still be recovered because there is a part in the bios which is not overwritten or boot block bios.

    well, basically if your motherboard CD has a Bios Flasher that can run under windows shell (you can also check your mobo's website if they provide a flash program for windows. Most Flash programs is ran trough DOS...

    b sure ur floppy disk is working gud.
    b sure ur floppy drive is working gud.
    b sure to have an UPS and AVR
    b sure to have a win98 start-up disk. anhi ka sugod.
    BIOS SETTINGS: advance - boot sequence : floppy - HDD0 - CD-ROM
    b sure to have the flashing .exe ( AMI / AWARD / phoenix)
    b sure u know waht ur BIOS is.
    download from their site the newest one. DON'T EXPERIMENT USING BIOS SOFTWARE OTHER THAN SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED FOR UR MOBO!

    Its better to flash in windows cause its very fast compared to a floppy. Gamit mo floppy for the purpose of just a backup of your BIOS.
