it's better to flash in dos mode. . .
you need a floppy drive or your you need your hdd to be formatted in fat32 if you would like to locate the bios file there. . .
if there is an accident and the bios is corrupted, it can still be recovered because there is a part in the bios which is not overwritten or boot block bios.

BIOS SETTINGS: advance - boot sequence : floppy - HDD0 - CD-ROM
b sure to have the flashing .exe ( AMI / AWARD / phoenix)
b sure u know waht ur BIOS is.
download from their site the newest one. DON'T EXPERIMENT USING BIOS SOFTWARE OTHER THAN SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED FOR UR MOBO!
