If it's from your past. . . if your happiest moment(or happy memories) with him, outweighs the hurt he caused you. Then, he deserves a second-chance.

IMHO. Everybody deserves a second-chance.
I know you can tell if he is genuinely sorry for what he did and if he truly is willing to change for good.
