not to spark any argument, just answering the question.

For ME ... yes it matters a lot. He is our saviour . He was a gift from God the father to us, and embodiment of the holy spirit. And for me, how he prepared his life, what he studied in preparation of becoming one of the greatest teacher ever is a fascinating subject/matter to me. I know there can only be one GOD and we/I could never be Him/Her but just a little information about him on his early years would suffice And maybe just maybe i could find my own enlightenment

I was raised as pure catholic but I myself am not convinced that the roman catholic church is the true church because it doesn't have any proof, kay ang gipakita karon nila as proof kay pwede gi fabricate ra sa mga tawo sauna.

I think it is hardly possible...

Muslims believe Jesus was merely a prophet, not Allah. To say Allah is Jesus would be blasphemous. Christians definitely know Jesus is not the Muslim's Allah because Jesus said He is the Son of God.

As for Jesus to be Buddha, I'll just point a link on a quick Google search...

yup, again I agree with Pridi nga Judas played a very important rule in the crucifixion of Jesus, if not for him it would have not taken place at all.

Well, Sacred Scripture is explicit about them. If they do not, it would be inacurate to say that man is so lucky to have freewill which the angels don't have. The statement alone pre-supposes that angels do exist. (off topic nagyud ni...)

If there would be a really really concrete answer that trumps all the other answers in every way, we won't be needing faith anymore. Jesus was already very concrete when He said "I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one goes to the Father except through me." I believe him, period. He performed miracles during His time (I don't know if this would pass a 'concrete-ness' test), some Jews believed Him through this, some did not. He died and resurrects Himself (the ultimate answer)... many believed and many still did not. The Apostles and the Church proclaimed this answer, many believed and many still do not. I would not go so far as to kill myself just to know what really is the answer to salvation.

I think it was not Rome who persecuted Jesus, Rome persecuted the followers of Jesus (and thus indirectly persecuted Jesus). That's why these followers were called Christians because they follow Jesus--they posed a threat to the Roman ideology and society, especially those in power, because they are willing to defy local authorities even at the cost of their own lives. If somebody was known to be a Christian at the time of the Roman persecution, it would be a big risk to that person's life. It's ironic indeed if Rome created something just so that it could persecute it. It would be like I write a big program just so that I could delete the code. Pretty inconceivable though.
