I quite get quiksilver's point, ive been on istorya for years. Im still a junior member because i prefer to only speak when i feel its needed. From what i understand he's trying to point out or rather appeal, that if a mod is warning or reprimanding someone tell that someone either thru pm or a message directly naming the person. As sometimes people dont know its them who's being reprimanded. Thus why its called a mistake.

It's true, that we are only guests here. And like guests in a house we should show decency and respect, not only to our hosts but to every other guest we encounter. But then again as guest, shouldn't we be afforded a little respect and decency too? And of course as guests from time to time we commit mistakes, that is human. And when we do, we would probably appreciate it more if we were told directly that we erred, rather than someone shouting to a whole bunch of other guests that someone has erred and he should better watch out.

And for all newbies or even cobwebbed veterans here, please read or freshen up on the rules. As this has been a recurring cause of conflict here. And as for the everyone ,lets treat each other with respect and decency, because at the end of the day newbie, veteran, mod or not we're all just human beings, prone to mistakes.

@Anton: nice POV...fair enough... love ur post bro...

the thing is, a lot of pipol witnessed that he was not mocked on cb(chatbox) by the mod, it was the other chatters hu teased him...he was just told to edit his post bcoz he used profane language which he failed to do so dats y he was muted...if he doesnt know how den he shudve asked how...for us, we have tried a lot of times being told on cb to edit our posts f we posted sumthing wrong, and even f our names were not mentioned, we know for a fact that the message was addressed to us bcoz we know the rules...and regarding PMs, f a PM was sent to him he might not notice it immediately, so it might take a while for him to edit the post and he might hav a hard tym locating the post...aside from that, we even havent tried receiving a PM just to edit our post on cb coz its just so easy to do and it wont take so much of his time...and its not like he was banned, as wat ive known he was just muted for a day...u see, sometimes we need to get penalty to learn from our mistakes...and i think that is merely the intention of the mod...
