Help with Broadband Options

Hello mga bossing, I just came back to cebu to work for a few months and I need
opinions on what I should do about my internet woes.

I just bought myself a router so that I could "borrow" part of my neighbor's PLDT DSL.
But it's just enough for basic surfing and not ideal for gaming.
I've been trying to convince them to switch to Globe's Internet+landline promo to no avail.

So maybe I could get Globe's promo myself but how much would the penalty fee
be if I cut my subscription short to just 6 months?

Or maybe there's broadband out there that provides for just 6 months of service?

3years ang lock-in sa globe so if you dc for less than that you will paid the remainder of that period. napakasakit!

I went with Globe's promo, yung 795 for 1mbps.
I've talked to their customer support and they said na ang termination fee is only x2 sa monthly.
So that means I'll just be paying 1590 para pa putol.
It's better than pldt's x3 for termination and 999 for monthly.

Yep, 1 year lock in pud akoa gi applyan.
Basta ingon man daw sila na ang termination kay x2 ra sa monthly and way labot sa nabilin nga months.
Naa unta bago na 6 months lock in no? tsk tsk tsk
