I used to train for tennis but gi hasolan ko coz busy kaayo ang trainer... have to sched pa sa iyang free time. Badminton nalang ko

my fave female player is hingis. she plays brilliantly and with finesse. she was basically invincible on 1997. too bad she has retired now at an early age. i certainly hope that she'll be back in the tour with a new weapon in her arsenal: power (especially in her serve). she plays tennis like a chess game. off-court, she may not be that lovable because of her arrogance, but i still admire her cockiness, nevertheless. anyway, serena has also that trait. (i saw the '97 french open final where she lost to graf. the controversial match was very interesting and sad at the same time because it's the only remaining grand slam event she haven't won yet. like sampras, the french open title is very elusive to win)

in the men's side, i like federer also because of his versatility - he has all the guns. he's very talented and has the grace and athleticism on court. it's coincidental that both of my fave players are swiss
