new world are not just flickers...but ichy tarantulas...if u have tried to hold an old world specie and new world, ma compare jud nimo ang kakatol...thats y daghan mu ingon na katol ang tarantulas coz...usually those tarantulas that can be handled(ideal for beginners)...are new world Tarantulas which is ichy...

...di pud cguro ta mu handle regalis if beginner pata oi..hehehe...

another thing is if you notice...new world tarantulas are hairy species compared to old world tarantulas...kanang grabe mu hatag ug katol..hehehe...have u tried sa avic kng unsa sya ka katol?

@flixers....yes sir baboons are considered old world species...and originates from africa...the reason y they are called baboon tarantulas aside they're from africa, is that if u're going to look at its hind legs kay dagko...ang if u're goin to view it ventrally, the hind legs looked like the fingers of the famous baboon
monkey.......

hahahaha ayaw tawn nang master bai flixer oi, this hobby is so broad that reaching master status is equivalent to god like! btw to explain this even entomologists that specializes in scorpions and tarantula always discover something new and unusual in this species. another point is hobbyists in europe and us that is already in the hobby for more than 10 years are still learning something new until now! we are still students in this hobby and long way to go pa ta!hehehe
