Whether it is the Osmenas, the Garcias, the Cuencos, the Gullases or any other family that is in power, they will never be able to please all of the people all of the time. There will always be rightful critics as well as apologists. Just as I am sure that some rather vocal and rude people posting here are out to shamelessly campaign for there chosen candidates (or the ones who are paying them), I am also sure that some are just exprssing theair honest opinion. It can't be helped for that is the nature of democracy. But at the end of the day, you can't fool all of the people all of the time. So rather than join the fray in expressing my opinion, I will just say that I trust the intelligence of Cebuanos in general and the unbiased (not paid hacks) Istoryans in particular, to be able to shift through the tons of rumors, misinformation, propaganda, lies and accusations in this thread and this section and discern the true and valid issues also found here. Only then will we all be able to make a wise choice in the coming elections. Ang mga naigo dinhi, pasenya nalang mo. You know who you are and as you can see from my post, I am not taking sides. I am just fed up with some of the childish and inutile posts in this thread and I know many Istoryans feel the same way....just my 2 cents worth.
