what if i have four different items posted in four different days and all four were responded by four different users for their own four different inquiries. do i violate the rules? certainly not.

Yes, I agree. Certainly not a violation eventhough your posts are on the first page. The rule focused on who do the bumping and not who started the threads.

check the posts, reymags only bumped 3 of his posts while the other one is a reply.
if this is a violation cause he posted all 3 in less than the required bumping time, then call his attention.

He obviously violates to rules "No one is allowed to have more than 3 topics at the first pages at any one time" and excessive bumping to post.

If you want to reply to an inquiry but you already have 3 threads on page 1, use PM. That or you merge your threads so you can manage them easily.

No more than 3 threads on the first page of any Buy / Sell subforums. You can have a million threads on the succeeding pages if you want to.

i guess many sellers are not aware of the more than 3 topics at the first pages / Excessive bumping rule. i for 1 was guilty during my first few posts. when i read the rules, that was the time i was vigilant. but my attention was not called by the mods. i see a lot of these violations specially sa clothing, shoes & accessories section.

Di violation kung dili ikaw ni reply sa forth, pero kung before atong ni reply with the same small fraction of time pag up sa 3 ka threads violation na siguro na.

Let's assume certains users that will represent the rule, user1 and user2.

What is the rule?

You are only allowed to have 3 threads on the first page on any Buy / Sell sub forums

This rule is intended to whom?

Overall, this new rule is for the thread starters.

Scenario 1:
User1 already had 3 threads on the first page yet user1 still creates another thread thus showing 4 threads on the first page. User1 violates the rule.

Scenario 2 (user1 and user2 are different persons):
User1 already had 3 threads on the first page but user2 bumps/replies one of user1 threads from page 2 or any other pages thus showing 4 topics of user1 on the first page. No violation committed by user1. User2 may violate the "needless bumping" rule if user2 bumps/replies user1's thread without any valid or justifiable reason for the rule is "You are only allowed to bump your own threads when in the Buy, Sell, Trade and Classifieds forum."

We can determine which ones are "bumped" by who. Given the circumstances, the chances are very low for "unintentional" bumps to happen at the same time the author bumps his own threads. If someone thinks they are smart and will try to kill the competition by doing that, that person will get the banhammer and not the author.

Scenario 3:
User1 already had 3 threads on the first page but any or all of the 3 threads were bumped NOT according to the 12-hour bumping tolerance, user1 now violates "excessive bumping" rule.

Scenario 4:
User1 already had 3 threads on the first page and a certain user2 creates a thread thus also showing user2's thread on the first page. But it was found out that user1 and user2 are the same person of different accounts, thus committing a violation.


Admin/Mods suggestion:
