try kaha nimo Ubuntu from a CD and see if the problem is OS-based...

As I see it I think this monitor is having problems with ATI cards. I'm just waiting for my answer from Sapphiretech regarding this matter. I'll also send the same problem with samsung today.

BTW, guys naa mo idea asa ta ka ask ug support from samsung? Ni try ko ug register sa ila site di man mo dawat kay invalid daw ako zip code from cebu? basin sa US ra to pwede.

Got a response from sapphire yesterday, still got to try out and older driver they suggested. Will post my findings soon.

No doubt your 850XT can handle such resolution easily unless your card is dying. You can stress test the card bro, use furmark. Lower your desktop resolution then stress test it for an hour. Sulayi pud reseat ang card, basin naluag lang. It is most unlikely na it has something to do with your monitor.

@Sempron Guy: Thanks for the tip bro, I'm currently using the v9.8 driver as what sapphiretech suggested. Salamat naka-ila ka sa ako card and giving me a positive suggestion. I also believe this card is a fighter even though its an old model pero sa naka-ila ani this card used to be one tough monster.

Still observing, currently I haven't encountered any weird displays pero ang problema is mo hang up na jd ako pc intermittently.
