He-he-he, katawa ko nagbasa sa ex-convict................very trueERAP: ex-convict, has hidden agenda, too old
Okay my contribution:
IMHO lang ni ha, I might be correct or I might be wrong.
GORDON: Walay political machinery
GIBO: Somewhat a shadow of the administration
ERAP: Already proven could not properly lead
VILLAR: Business Inclined not really 100% for public servitude
NOY-NOY: Still to prove himself
so far, mao pa ni akong na gather nga information through your replies. hope this'll help. ill update this every now and then...
the BAD SIDE of my presidential candidate (a SUMMARY):
GORDON: He offers no excuse or apologies for the way he is, has no chance of winning, no political machinery
GIBO: linked to PGMA, linked to the GARCIA, over-qualified, basin dummy ni gloria, not yet proven quite a lot, somewhat a shadow of the administration
ERAP: ex-convict, has hidden agenda, too old, already proven could not properly lead
VILLAR: (still needs clarification from ing_pacz), his interest in general (eg. business), protector, return of investments, will use his power for his own benefit, business inclined not really 100% for public servitude
NOYNOY: under the control of puppet masters, walay agi, uto-uto, still to prove himself

eddie villanueva man tingali to..
Deviate ko sa thread subject gamay and share my take on some presidential candidates bad sides-
Noynoy Aquino- 1) Mediocre track record. Politicians offer heaven come election time, they love to sweet talk the public for that coveted vote but the things is Can they actually walk their Talk? Look at their track record, it's a good indication of what their capable of or simply if they can fulfill those mannas they are promising. As for Noynoy, if his track record is any indication God save the Philippines if he wins. 2) A Puppet. There are the LP, the MBC, the Cory cronies. If it weren't for the sad fact that Cory died, Noynoy would never be in the picture and that is something that the yellows should admit to. The MBC's support is another sour tomato in the already rotting box, they want to keep the status quo thus their support; as for Cory's cronies they want the glory days back. 3) He's no smartass and we all know it. That booboo over the judicature issue made me LOL. If you heard of that blunder and is still considering him then there is something seriously wrong with you. 4) No vision, no platform. Need I say more?
Manny Villar- He's a self-made man and I respect him for that but I've always been wary of businessmen foraying into politics. There's always the risk of them using the position to pursue their business interests. Villar mentioned before that he never sees himself as an employee... and what could be the symbol of the ultimate employer than being the president himself? But that's just me though. There's the money he spent for the ads, though his prerogative, I can't help but be suspicious. His trapo ways are huge turnoffs as well, it makes him look desperate for a win and there goes the warning bells in my head again. But these things aside, one of my biggest concerns is his lack of foresight. It shows when he speaks about issues and that is something i would not risk my vote on.
Dick Gordon- He's claim on Subic may be a bit immodest (i have a different view on Subic) but he did deliver and that was the point. What really turns me off is his my way or no way sort of leadership. It woul have worked in a municipality but in a country of 90M people this may breed confusion and contempt. A president cannot, should not micromanage. While he needs to take the bull by it's horn, he also needs to listen, to consult. That is the paradox. Then there's the stand on our most pressing problems. I do not agree with some of his views, the Mindanao peace problem for example as well as his proposed programs for Visayas and Mindanao. Visayas needs much more than tourism and Mindanao, while essential, needs not to rely solely on agriculture. Industrialism should be introduced in order for VizMin to be at par with the progressive cities of Luzon. Gordon is a good manager but I doubt if he is a good leader.
Gibo Teodoro- 1.) He does not have executive experience. I would have preferred someone who has executive experience but since these are the only suspects we have, i have no choice. But if we'll let history be the judge, we have presidents of no executive experience who did well during their terms. 2) His connection with the Arroyos. This is a disadvantage in his campaign and nothing more. While I do not see this as a problem in a Teodoro presidency I listed this as a bad side on the reason that when Gibo wins, he will have a hard time getting the people's trust. We shall expect a lot of rallies and a huge cry of discontent at the beginning of his term. This can cause instability. These are the roadblocks he needs to overcome when he becomes president. 3) His programs/platform(at least some). While they are really good and doable, they are not immediate solutions. But if you are for long term solutions rather than short term, you may not have a problem with that.
I guess my biases show though I tried to be objective. But you can't get an objective assessment from supporters really. You can only have that from those who are impartial at this point.
