It's bad enough she harbored her fugitive son. But a lot of people say that a mother's love is unconditional and they would have done the same thing in her place. Okay, as a parent myself, I'll give them that (although you wonder what kind of a parent she has been to raise a hoodlum for a son). But now that Jason is in custody, she should just shut up and let justice take its course. She's just feeding the press likely stories like the British bodyguard framing Jason, or that her book is the reason why powerful people are trying to get back at her. Her book? Who's read that book? Whatever she said there a lot of other authors have probably said worse about the war in Iraq. People might start to think she's just plugging her book. Worst of all, she's beginning to come across more and more as a mentally unbalanced person. Genius, sure, but there's a thin line between genius and madness.
