Toyota Innova's D4D Diesel Engine

Requesting for your feedback or comments on the Toyota Innova's D4D Diesel Engine based on your experiences. I heard about issues before and wonder if these issues are still true in the new models.

I'm highly considering buying soon a Toyota Innova, either the G or the new Sport Runner variant, with A/T and D4D diesel engine.

Your inputs will greatly help me in making a decision. Many Thanks in advance!

i think the issues have been resolved with the newer released models. 2006 and below(not sure) models are the ones with issues on fuel pump and fuel filter.

anyways IMO, na resolve na nah and tungod na sa dirty diesel nato diri sa pinas that's causing it.
and even resolved na ayaw ghapon ug kompyansa.

what we from strada club do to be safe is dili namu pa abton ug below 1/4 level ang fuel, just to be safe than sorry.

Follow up question, tanuod nga ang pareha ra sila'g makina sa Fortuner? Like similar jud, I mean kung unsae gibutang sa Fortuner, mao sad ang gibutang sa Innova. Mao toh ingon ako migo ay. Hahaha
