Aside from the things I buy at the mall, I have been wearing (buying) UK for a span of 10 years or so--and based on my experience, I didn't get sick or anything. Basta labhan b4 u use it--and I don't buy underwear--grabe napd. Most of the clothes esp shirts/tops are unique. Branded or not as long as I like the style, I would go for it. There are a lot times mas updated pa ang nasa ukay2x kaysa sa malls. It's also a way of recyling and saving money by buying nice clothees for less. As they say--naa rna sa pagdala![]()
Nangukay mi sa akong mama and sister gahapon sa Carbon. Sayo sa buntag mi ni-adto, after we attended Mass. Dugay na ko wa naka-adto didto. Kung mangukay ko recently kay I visit the store atbang Robi, kanang stores sa RainTree Mall, and those in Mandaue (mas duol pa sa balay, hehe). Anyway. Mas na-kugang ko when we went to another stall selling long-sleeved tops for P35.00 -- and another selling assorted tops for P100.00 for three pieces. I was in ukay-ukay heaven! Granted, maka-luya siya, walking from one end to another. But dili jud mabayran ang feeling that comes knowing you snagged a worthy piece at a super affordable price. Bag-o jud tan-awn among mga napalit. Basta mangukay, patience and a healthy sense of adventure can make you go a long way.![]()
Going to Ukay-ukay also serves as a bonding bet. me and my friends. hahaha.

When you find an item you really like, refrain from showing too much enthusiasm. Once the tindero/tindera senses your great like for the item, ang tendency kay i-increase nila ang price, believing you'll purchase it at any cost. Ask casually how much the item costs. If you think the price is too much, simply return it to the pile. More often than not, the seller would lessen the price. They'll say something like, "Pwede ra sad na P40.00, ma'am" (if tag P60.00 or P50.00 ang item, for example). If di gihapon madala, you can always haggle. Most of them kay mahangyo ra man, labi na if daghan ka'g paliton. If di jud gihapon mahangyo, then look for other stalls na lang. The price varies from stall to stall. Some sell their stuff a bit steep, while others sell theirs dirt cheap.

ukay2 is fine man, not the undergarments lang ofcourse.. who would buy that.. i have ukay2 clothes and some cant even detect na ukay2 siya and some na ako na buy kay naa pa tagsso cool right?? and wa pajud ka kapareho foh sure
