LCD Monitor calibration

Maayung adlaw mga master, im new to Photography, lately lang ko nag start ug photoshop2x until i encounter this problem. After i processed my pictures in photoshop based on my taste and preference and posted it on the net, i thought ok na akong pictures, later i discovered when i opened it sa amo office, it doesn't looked like the way it seem sa ako PC sa balay, murag under exposed tanan and the colors sucks, after doing some research, i found out that our monitor needs to be calibrated first so that what we see in the screen during post processing is realy what we get when printing it out, ngeta sad kog mga calibrating software nisamot na noon ko kalibog, can somebody help me what to do? i stopped doing photoshop after encountering this problem, useless raman gihapon, di man diay sakto akong gibuhat in the first place... please help me guys, and if there is an existing thread like mine, please give me some link i cant find it man gud, im begging for your help guys

you need to have a tool for calibrating your monitor... like spyder... and such... and i doubt if naa daghan nakatagiya ana nga tool dinhi... if you can buy one then much better

thank you sir, naa bitaw ko nabasahan nga specific hardware bundled in a software nga mo calibrate sa monitor, but when i checked the price in the internet pwerte pod ka mahal oi, murag 10K man tingali to? walay lain remedy ani sir? like software alone? that may be used in replacement with that calibrating tool

im not sure but i think there is... but it's a lonnnnnnnnngggggggggg process and might not be done right

but i would suggest you goforthe hardware, its a onetime buy. and you need to calibrate your monitor atleast once a month... if not wrong... so worth it ra

its seems wala na gyud koy choice ani dah but to buy that softaware...mmmmmm... sege lang mgutana sa ko ako mga kaila basin naa sila hehe.. thanks daan bro, hope naa pay laing motabang or suggest.

Check your LCD monitor color profile make sure it is the same color profile that your Photoshop is using. Example is sRGB dapat sRGB ang profile gamit sa monitor ug PS. Another way is by using szichri's calibration method, print ka test shot, from your printed copy imo i-compare it against your digital copy and do manual calibration on your monitor (contrast/color/brightness/etc).

Pero ang the easiest ana is buying a spyder monitor calibration tool (daghan man version ang spyder kadto lang basic murag spyder II ang name), dli man guro ni kaabot ug 10k na karon, it's a worthy investment man pod if you want to go that serious in photography or if naa naka mga clients. Try to contact boss MarkYap or Peter sa Photoshoppe basin makahatag sila ug special price for istoryan

You can do the manual method mentioned above. I use Spyder Pro and just let the machine do the calibration since I don't trust my eyes that much

thanks kaayo bro, im considering this one gyud, or basin mopalit nalang ko anang spider siguro oi... bro ako lang reiterate based sa ako nasabtan ha? bali, direct from my camera mag prin kog pic then that sample pic mao na akong apason sa setting sa ako PC sakto bah ako nasabtan bro? medyo d raba jud ko maayog mata dah... sege lang ako lang suwayan usa ni. anyway naa kay idea pila ng spider? thanks daan bro

you can use Adobe Gamma to calibrate your monitor. it installs with photoshop, but if it doesn't, you can download it separately on the internet. just do a google search.
