HELP!! Urgent! USB files cannot be seen but they are there

i think that USB is already infected with a virus and putting it in another pc will probably infect that pc. so take precaution before doing that move.

ako cguro butahon kung maka encounter ko ana nga problem kay ako icheck first ang pc kung naay virus. maybe naay running nga exe (malware or a virus) nga nag binuang sa usb flash drive, or how to describe that.

daghan ways to check if your pc is infected and i can't detailed it here.
there are times nga dli maka detect ang Anti-virus bisag unsaon. i have tried it so many times. murag na immune ang AV.

nka suway nako ani bro... try sa folder options/view tab nya click sa show hidden files and folders then apply dayn.... na virusan ni imu flash drive... hope this helps...

try daw ni sa "xp murag nalimot nako"open any window, tools,folder option,view,tick "show hidden files,folders and drive" uncheck "hide extensions for known file types" uncheck "hide protected operating system files(recomemded)" ug na i warning ok lang.hinaut makita nimo ang files, kung i properties nimo ang files na imong gpangita nya imong i uncheck ang hidden dka ka uncheck or dili ma unhide tungod na sa virus himo lang ug lain na folder daun copyha imong mga files, ibalik lang nya tong imong gpang uncheck kay nakita ang imong system files nyag na i mahitabo lain guba imong system.

inig human gani ug recover.. e.transfer ang mga files sa My Documents or bisan asa ninyo gusto ibalhin..
mabalhin na gani tanan files.. e.reformat na inyong USB flash drive.. unya, ang katong files nga inyong gi.transfer sa My Documents.. e.balhin na ninyo sa USB flash drive..

Sayon ra ni. Iopen nang imong USB sa Linux nga PC. Ug wala'y Linux nga PC imong makit an, download na lang ug LiveCD- CD ni siya nga bootable. Ipaslak lang sa imong CD drive, boot dayon, making sure nga sa imong BIOS giset nga mouna siya ug boot from CD-ROM. Kadownload ka diri ug Linux Puppy LiveCD- Puppy lang gamita kay gamay ra ang file size sa iyang .iso. :

Use Pmount to mount your USB, pangitaa lang sa menu.

Sure na kaayo nang imong USB nga naigo na ug virus. Pwede nimo gamiton ang Puppy pagremove sa virus. Use X-FProt nga antivirus. Moupdate pod na siya basta naa kay internet.

To connect to the internet click lang sa "Connect" naa sa desktop.

DIR/a means iyang elist tanan directory/files masking nakahidden pa na or naka system attribute, so pwede wala nanang attrib -h -s -r na command.

Open My Computer,
Go to Tools>Folder Options
Go to View

Select Show Hidden Files
Uncheck Hide protected operating system files

Press ok.

Go to your USB Drive, and check if you can see the folders you wanted..

Now, run command prompt.

type there:

attrib -h -s filename/filepath

example:
attrib -h -s E:\folder\filename.exe

for /D, wala pa ko kagamit, but try with /D without the specific filename.exe

example:
attrib -h -s E:\folder /D

or if you want some other options,

go to CMD and type
attrib /?

for help

always press ENTER @ the end to execute command...
