i only used it.. if im felling "vista"...


with all the skins i've tried.. i still go back to kol's vistaXP skin.. its clean and simple.. match it up w/a nice wallpaper and icons.... your ready to go

U try Niqu, it's really neat and nice.. limpyo kaau ang look..

@nez check out the desktop screenshots at sites like winmatrix.com, that will inspire you to look for other styles with icons that dont look like vista.

ya.. thats true... but kol's vistaXP skin for me has the perfect taskbar,it's the only taskbar that suits my eyes. .. unlike those round start buttons.. dugay ko naka realize.. na its horrible... waaaa..

do you have screenies of Niqu.. thats a skin.. right... eheheh..

@wendellmb: Niqu is a port of Mac theme so you're probably not into it I guess.. but still, it has a clean look but I made a lot of modding to it to suit my style. I always mod themes kay most of them do not suite my style.. perfectionist gyud ko when it comes to the desktop..

Mo prefer man gud kog ported Mac themes kay they look clean and not overbloated unlike other skins there.

@lokster: Vista icons --> http://www.vistaicons.com/ daghan selections. Pero personally dili nako feel ang look sa Vista icons.

@wendellmb: I use Skinstudio to edit WB themes if ever I find the WB skin to be interesting and useable.. if I find a VS more appealing then I use TGTSoft Stylebuilder.. For now I'm using WB 'coz I found some interesting skins for WB.. pero once in a while when I find a more interesting VS then StyleXP ko..

thanks nez. i want to use windowsblinds, but i dont want to slow down my computer. ne inputs?

I haven't noticed Windowblinds slowing my PC actually, read further sa Wincustomize , there is a thread about performance using Windowblinds, i-search lang. Or you can always try it out sa shareware na version. It isn't really a resource hog, in fact pareha ra cyag kaon sa Theming service sa Windows XP. Basta it's written in that topic, u can search it there.
