The question is: Is LXG 2 really necessary?

After that train wreck that was LXG, I hope the WB execs think twice about pulling the trigger on a new one. That movie really sucked balls, which really made it very painful since Alan Moore's story had more quality and had so much to offer. It's a perfect example of how Hollywood tries to put their stamps on comic-book stories, only to fail miserably.
