The reason kuno ipa-close ang UP High is that dako ug nakaon ang HS sa budget sa college. The dean is planning to close high school para ma constituent university (autonomous university) ang UP Cebu College. Kung wala nay UP High, ang tanang budget adto na sa college. Nya kung mulambo ang college, mahimo na ning constituent university.

Yes, it's true dako ug nakaon ang High School. But here are the alumni ready to support us. But still ilang gi-reject among possible solution without justifiable reason.

FINAL NOTE TO EVERYONE AGAINST UP HIGH: You are saying wa'y gamit ang UP High sa society? Drop dead! You just don't know how we are trained here in our school. Gamit ang UP para sa mga kabos pero ngil-ngig nga mga estudyante. Kung tagaan ta ni ug quality education ang poor but deserving students, sila na pud puhon ang mubaws sa tabang nga gihatag sa ila. THAT'S HOW WE ARE TRAINED! We are brought up with the spirit of nationalism and gratitude. We live according to the values: EXCELLENCE, SERVICE and LEADERSHIP.

And do you think closing UP High would change the quality of education in Cebu? Think about it...
