i'm a newbie on this company....i have no comments so far...'coz so far, is sooo good! esp the chix!!! hehehe jowk!

This is true jud. I had a very funny experience pag-apply nako dha. Nag-apply ko with my friend, and then okay ra man unta sa initial interview, nakapasar mi..we're told na i-forward mi sa next interview, ang ilaha daw "head" sa HR named Nina. So we got very excited coz gipabalik gud mi pagkahapon. 2PM daw amo unterview, we've been waiting for 1 hour kay na-arrive siya 3PM na.. (Imagina, unprofessional kaayo) and she's only wearing short pants and a pair of slippers, naka-tshirt pa yata siya. At first, okay pa kaayo iya mood nag-interview sa first interviewee, and we've learned na maka-proceed sila to the next phase.and after 45 mins, we noticed na gikapoy na siya, naglean na lang siya sa table while asking questions and she seemed not listening to what we're saying. Nagscribble2x ra siya sa amo application forms, warag blank iya mind, and then iya questions kay balik2x ra sa mga gipang-ask sa iya mga kauban, very the same ra jud. After that kadtong mga na-interview after 4PM kay wala diay nadawat, iya ra ming gi-ingnan na "We'll just call you."

Mao to.. makawala ug gana.. unprofessional jud kaayo si madame...

tip for you guys: if mang apply mo then mura'g ma bored ang nag interview, then pagka last part m.ingon gani we'll just call you, don't expect to be hired. it simply means you have bored your interviewer and you have a very slim chance of getting thru. so when in an interview, be at your best.

Nina? kato na siyang mobo-on? Interview ko ganina sa xlibris, oki raman pud. Text layout formatter akong gi applyan. Pasar man cguro ko sa initial interview kay ingon raman hulat lang sa tawag para technical exam. Question.... pela sweldo diha sa text layout formatter?

Good for you, you are satisfied with your position. But you are just one of the few people in Cebu who have a nice job or shall i say satisfied with your Job. Market today has its ups and down even how big or small your company is, it will be affected on the global economic rampage thats been happening today sooner than later.

Each company has its own culture and as an employer of one you will have to adapt to it making sure you will be productive and still be professional on whatever you do. Okay given that Xlibris have non professional people then you dont need to be one of them. But making excuses on the interview process is a very lame BS excuse. I have read most of the comment here on this thread and i am sad to hear that Crab Mentality has been really damaging our culture. To the extent that people would never give anyone a chance because his friend says so. Well life is not a straight road my friend there's always be a left or right and oppurtunity knocks on the right place and on the right time. I heard Xlibris are sending good People in the US.. dont know how true is this but given that information, that alone is good thing to explore. If you are in the age of 20+ to 30+ determined to succeed then dont hold yourself and explore. We are Filipinos and we are better than those Caucasians out there who run these companies.
