i agree about making it CGI... Warcraft's characters were very stylised.. almost cartoony.. so if they made it live-action, it would be just weird. im still gonna watch it though.

Hmmm.. on second thought, CG sounds much better!.. But live action sounds good too if the translation matches the look and feel of Warcraft (but that's kinda funny because Warcraft is COLORFUL)

Yeah, consider the Night Elves.. they're all purple-skinned and adorned with stylized costumes and armor.. ugh.. I just can't fathom it being in live action. They'll most likely bastardize the whole thing. This should be their business plan, should the movie industry have any dignity left in it:

1.) Do it entirely in CG.
2.) Base it on the backstory of WoW or on a completely different script (as long as it's well done)
3.) Release it exclusively on DVD. Or they can release a Collector's Edition where they can bundle it with a copy of all previous WC games and WoW + bonus material
4.) Profit!
