I prefer the documentaries done by The BBC myself. Last weekends doc on Leonardo Da Vinci was great, and so are its pieces on the other great Rennaicance Painters.

yeah, i used to watch those documentaries about artists in the renaiscance... pero karon morag wala na man sa BBC sa? nindot kaayo to inspiring kaayo. hehe. unsa diay oras mag-show og documentaries ang BBC? di jud ko ka-timing da.

I saw a new one about Leonardo Da Vinci last Saturday. Replayed on Sunday. I think 5 pm or 6pm. It focused on his work leading up to the last Supper, which was pretty cool. It was only then that I realized that the painting was supposed to depict the moment when Christ said "Tonight, one of you will betray me."

It also showed modern minds working on ways to make Leonardo's ideas work in the modern world.

If a person's faith is affected by a TV Documentary starring bad actors with really bad wigs and fake facial hair, then that person didn't really have that much faith to begin with.

don't be such a narrow minded person. ngc, so as bbc, are non-conformist channels and usually the shows that they air are usually documentaries and thus, they are based on facts.
and yeah, i've got a question for you... where do you get basis for your faith? the bible? don't you know that there are many catholic teachings that are not in the bible?

So what if they happen to present something that could question people's faith on the Catholic church or about Christianity... Being an educational channel, they ought to present everything objectively...

If people are threatened by things that questions their FAITH... then it is no FAITH at all!
