Complaints against PHOTOGRAPHERS in the streets during Sinulog

It was my first time to shoot the Sinulog Grand Parade as a registered photographer. My initial comment during the first 5 minutes of my shoot was "grabe ka daghan og piranha!" They would simply swarm the contingent, esp the queen, and point their God-forsaken cams and lenses right in the face of the dancers, even blocking their way from moving forward. Some, no...a lot of photographers would not even leave their spot in front of the contingent even if they have already taken their shots. Ako ra ika.ingon...mga BAGA JUD OG NAWNG!

hehe. same ta ug na feel bay nalingaw ko nag-tan-aw adtong photog nga gi-dul-it ang lens sa face
sa isa ka festival queen. nangalot nalang sa likod ang uban photogs. maybe next time, mag-hope ko na mas ok na ang crowd control... (kadtong mga nagpintal ug itom sa ilang lawas kay epektib kaayo mag-crowd control)

maybe that why they call it "street photography"... or they should name it "Sports Complex Photography"... peace!

Compared to last year's event, sa Mango Jollibe/Gasoline station dapit kay luag to sauna compared karon... i was there last year and i was on the sideline gatan-aw and luag ang dance area, karon kay gamay nalang. murag gahuot jud sila..

or the dancers/ choreographers, should plan some steps na "Just for the street" dance lang, na kanang makasayaw sila bisan huot

hehehe...that's also getting worse... it's a big problem to those using zooms like me...the moment you press the shutter, you get the back of someone's head...
