Globelines = worst, I know a lot of people who used to have globelines internet connection and they switched to other internet provider because they are dissatisfied with the service and the connection that globelines provided to them.

Smart Bro = It totally depends on your location. If your location is near the Smart signal tower and nothing is blocking (i.e trees, building etc) the signal then the connection is satisfactory.

PLDT = so far the best internet provider here in Cebu. Most internet cafes are satisfied with their service in terms of speed.

ang nice basta wireless ang imo gusto smart bro pero kung gusto ka with phone PLDT ang nindut kaysa globe.., pero depende japun sa area..,

Kung sa ako na case kay globe ang da best tungod ani na reasons:

1. Ang pldt walay DATA only na plan. Ang gibayran nako para sa 1mbps karon kay 795 ra (wala landline). Kung pldt ang bayranan para sa 1mbps moabot ug almost 1700 tungod naa landline.
2. Ang Bayantel walay residential na plan (3k ila minimum na bayranan)
3. Full speed ang akong makuha sa globe anytime of the day
4. Walay limit ang torrent ug download sa rapidshare
5. Nindut ang connection sa Singapore @ 67ms (nindut ni para sa Garena)

Ang problema lang sa globe kay dali ra moinit ang modem (made in china). Mao na sa una maputol panagsa ang connection. Ang solution nako kay gikuha ang Fan gikan sa side sa case, turn upside down ang modem (prolink 5200), then ibutang sa top ang Fan. Karon bisag 24/7 na naka on ang PC kay dili ma DC. Mao na maka host ko ug games sa Garena sa GLobe Dota Room 1 and 2.

Sayop diay dapat residential DATA only plan . Duol na ka ug bayranan ana sa bayantel kung business na ang subscription, moabot na ug 3k para sa 1mpbs.


795 ra ako gibayran ron para sa 1mbps sa globe (secret promo last december).

Walay ayo ang skybroadband sa cebu kay wala sila DATA ONLY na plan.

SkyCable - nindot daw 12x faster than DSL daw..pero wala pa nako natry..

PLDT Dsl - hmmmm..it depend siguro sa imong plan..

Globelines - ambot ani oi..mawawala man mao nibalhin ko ug pldt >_<

Smart Broadband - the best broadband. (for me)

Globe Broadband - I used it but wala jud nako mafeel ang speed nila T_T

para nako depende sa area, naa areas ang PLDT na perti gyud hinaya, tungod sa ilang infra na karaan na kaayo so daghan mga interference sa linya. naa pud areas ang GLOBE na kusog. if mag PLDT ka, try to request for an NGN line (usually starts with 238-xxxx). mas barato pud ang GLOBE ang wa lang gyud nako ganahi sa ilang service ron ang HTTP proxy nila, hasol kaayo.
