I've been there twice, 2008 and 2009. If u don't gamble maximum 2 days your bored but you can always take the ferry to Hong Kong and fly out from there. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice small place and the hotels and shops are fabulous but after a day at the mall, I realized they are just nice to look at because their brand names but didn't have the heart to buy anything because of the price.

luckily, my dad met a pinoy, by accident sa macau ferry when we arrived. he offered to tour us arround (he's a freelance tour guide) for HKD 200 (we were a group of eight). initially it was HKD 50 per person, but hangyo2 mao naabot ug HKD 200 na lang for all eight of us. he was super nice. buotan jud, as in dili pangwarta. he brought us to the imprtant places to visit in macau, naa na man gud mi ticket pabalik sa hong kong so medyo kuwang amo time ato. but according to him, if wala pa unta mi ticket ato, mas daghan pa mi maadtoan. he brought us to the Bubble Show sa City of Dreams na free ra ang entrance na super nice jud as in! amazing jud kaayo nga show. had we not met him, wala unta mi idea naa diay bubble show nga free ra and amazing pa jud. he brought us for lunch sa Sands Casino na foodcourt. the food was super yummy! the best i had in my entire trip sa hongkong and macau. and it was cheap too kay he had a 50% discount sa Sands (member siya or something). so for 8 people plus him, we payed about HKD 120 only. as in barato ra jud and grabe ka lami, he did the ordering for us man. before we left, my dad gave him HKD 250 instead of 200 kay he was satisfied jud with him. if you like, i can give you his contact details.

    the places we visited were:

    The Venetian
    City of Dreams
    Casino Lisboa
    Grand Lisboa
    Wynn
    Senado Square
    Ruins of St.Paul
    St. Dominic Church

let me know if ganahan ka sa iya contact number.

and oh, we did not spend at all for our pliti sa macau. daghan man gud free shuttle from the ferry to the casinos. so what we did, sakay ra mi pirmi sa shuttles. hope you have fun!

We were in Macau over the weekend. It was just a sidetrip and we only spent one day didto since our hotel accommodation is only in HK. We had a great time in Macau though nagkasa-ag sa-ag mi gamay kay their maps are not detailed and accurate unlike the ones provided in HK. But thanks to plush's advice we didn't have much problems moving around Macau. Lots of scooters there too! Very appropriate kay gagmay ang roads sa downtown dapit.
