election season is in the air...opposing sides scrutinizing each other, slinging mud, dirty propaganda --- to the point of sometimes literally killing each other...

but in my own opinion, naay pgka tinuod ang gisulti sa Capitol batok sa planned SM-SRP deal. SM should carefully review the contract it will sign with Cebu City for the sale of a portion of the SRP so as not to end up like FLI.

Hey people, let us look at the bigger picture. Let us not be trapped in the political crossfire. This is not about taking sides. This is about vigilance. This is about the welfare of the taxpayers.

if we are wary about the CICC, lamp post and Balili controversies, there is no reason why we should not be wary about the FLI controversy, the 600-M political budget, and the planned SM-SRP deal...

sub (off) Topic: Asia Town IT Park comparison to SRP

private lots were expropriated by the Gov't exclusively for AIRPORT USE during the time when the Lahug Airport operated.

but some contracts to sell has specific provisions detailing that in case the Lots will not be utililized as
part of the airport anymore, then the Gov't should revert back the land to its previous owner or the owner has the right of first refuse before the Gov't can sell or use the property for any other purposes.

Mao ni nga na baligya to Ayala kaning mga yuta sa Asia Town thus PRIVATE PROPERTY na kani cya.
Ayala applied the whole development as a SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE as an IT PARK.
No part of Asia Town Development has been funded by any Gov't entity thus wala hold ang Gov't other
than the local and PEZA regulatory functions on how Asia Town Shall be operated.

Pero daghan pud naka kuarta sa pag pinalitay aning mga yuta-a since some owners claimed Foul because the provision "The right of First Refuse" has not been followed. mao na duna mga kaso pud diha sa korte karon.

    sorry off topic.

if the intention is being vigilant CAPITOL should have been more vigilant with THEIR DEALINGS in THEIR OWN BACKYARD.

I could have agreed with them if the warning is done in GOOD FAITH. But we all know its NOT.
    I'd say its crap.

unya gikamang na daan ang mga kaso all the way up to the SC. some people here thinks i was born just yesterday. pag stand by sa CA or sa SC sa Manila ay, mahibong lang ka daghan kaayo ug mga familiar faces from Cebu with personal interests didto doing backroom meetings and country club lunches.

luoy ang mga original owners anang mga yuta-a, kadaghanan wala ma-uli kung na-uli man gani it is because they have to cut a "deal" or they have connections with the "right people" in power who have influence in these lots and cases.

now who could that "right people" be? hmmn...

let me say it to you point blank... what are we to be wary about Tomas transactions? that it is straight? naa ba transaction ang gobyerno nga straight? sa 20 years namo nga pangontrata sa gobyerno, WALA GYUD BISAN USA NGA STRAIGHT TRANSACTION.

as i have said for the nth time, i don't care nga makakwarta si Tomas basta:

1] literally, nindot ang project unya daghan kaayuhan mahatag sa mga Cebuano, both city and province
    2] dili i-abandon
    3] dili white elephant
    4] dili half-baked
    5] dili over, overly-priced
    6] dili useless

so far ang mga Osmena, in this case the SRP nakatuman ana tanan. So I can't complain.

do you think the politicians here in the States or any progressive are not corrupt? they are, pero di kaayo mo-reklamo ang mga tawo kay naa man makita. pero sa province, wa'y nakita kay ngitngit kaayo puro ra propaganda in nature iyang mga programs.

    get my drift now?

and who is Attorney de Notario Rory Jon Sepulveda to warn Mr. Henry "Mall King" Sy? don't you think people of this level can crush an LGU? Heck, they can even buy Senators and Cabinet members and their lawyers and consultants are not scared to wage a legal war against a poor government. Think again... Remember that courts in the Philippines is not about justice, it is about who has more money. He became Mr. Henry Sy and any Chinese Tycoon had been buying corrupt politicians a long time ago, when Atty. Sepulveda was still wearing diapers.

before Gwen wants to engage in show business through propaganda, let her clean up her act because she looks very ugly to an educated Cebuano and to the entrepreneurs as well. In short, basa na iyaha... este iyaha'ng papel.

she should tell her allies Ouano and Radaza to stop their massive corruption practices coz businessmen in LapuLapu are pulling out and still pulling out. While businessmen in Mandaue lost all their faith in Teddy Ouano, thanks to Mayor Jonas Cortes the businessmen are gaining their confidence again.

Correct ka sir. gui dula-an gyud na diha pag maayo.
Its true duna na pildi duna pud ni daug diha. Meaning, duna gui bayaran lang ug centavos pero ang uban duna pud na bayran ug pesoses.

Those owners sir nga naka butang ug provision the right of first refuse dagko to sila ug nakuha. But,
those who has no similar clause pildi gyud kay wala gyud sila na bayran. tulo na lang ila laway, daku pa gasto sa kaso. same thing, pildi. But then, i see no problem with the Developer on this one.
Ang mga kickbacks ug commission sa part sa mga ahente sa gobyerno maoy naka pa daku ug samot sa
gasto sa mga private developers. I too am with a private developer before. 12 years na ko aning buhata sir. hehehe. the works from ROD, DENR, BIR, HLURB, CITY HALL, ASSESSors Ofc, BRGY hall apil pa. hahaha.
apil pa baktin sa ila piggery mangayo sir. hwahahaha
