I think thats too small sir. a Bp that size should be eating a small rat already but thats just my opinion and from what I red from books and forums.

yup. if ur into powerfeeding to speed up their growth. snakes can maintain their weight for a month or two without eating in the wild. i just want mine conditioned just right for breeding. powerfeeding makes them lazy...

sir no offense and I'm just curious from where did you get that information that feeding a BP that size with a small rat everyweek is already powerfeeding? I believe most Bp keepers use the guideline feeding a prey 10% to 15% of the snakes weight and feedng a prey as big or slightly larger than the biggest part of the snake's body.
    happy reptile keeping

kanya2 rna research and belief bro. dpende kung asa ka mtoo. as long as i know that my BP's healthy and eating. i think thats the most important factor. try asking experts urself. again, a snake can maintain its weight in the wild for months w/o eating. one reason for that could be predators. so how much more kung captive bred cla? way gbuhat, not much movement sa ila muscles, lacking the ability to hunt for food. do wat u believe is best for ur BP and same goes also wit mine...

oh, and one more thing. its not about the size of the prey bro. coz u can just feed the snake again if u think the prey is too small.

I already did read from the expert's books sir. one written by kevin McCurley and one written by the barkers and they point to the same thing with regards to feeding. I apprediate your input regarding the matter though. thanks and good luck with your future projects
