Blogger VS Wordpress, Which is Better?

Hi tech experts! Just want to ask your opinion about which is better:
Blogger or Wordpress (Free version)?

I want to start a blog for personal use but am open to put up advertising for a little passive income. I don't intend to make this a primary source of income. I don't know a lot about blogging so I'm wondering which of the two is better.

Based on my research, I know Blogger (by Google) is easier to use but harder to customize. It is also easier to incorporate adsense. The only thing I don't like is that Google will OWN the contents of your blog and can shut you down without warning.

Wordpress is very customizable & more professional they say. It is also complicated. You also have better options to generate more traffic into your site and have more control of the contents of the site.

I can deal with the complications if it will turn out better in the long run. Also, I would want to upgrade my website to my own domain name in the future. I don't want to pay for a blog at this time so I'm going with the free sites.
Blogger or Wordpress, What do you guys think?

nagstart ko sa blogger. pero when i started playing with wordpress on a hosted domain(free), mas ganahan ko sa wordpress.. challenging at first.. but when you get used it, sayon na lang sya.. and daghan kaayo mbuhat sa wordpress..

for beginners, wordpress is the best! why? sooner or later, if you will buy your own hosting and will plan to install your won self hosted blog, it would be more easy to install then and understand the interface. pero pde rpud ka mo try ug blogspot..i use both actually..
