Real world experience with Smart Bro Share It wireless broadband

kabantay ko nagreset ako connection.
then pag speed test nako, mao ni cya result.
notice the difference sa IP address (pertaining to my previous screenshot)

mao sad na ang IP Address sa December 24 nga testing nako boss. dara screenshot (with IP and date, location ani nga time is Naga).


naa pako sa office karun unya wala nako gidala akong share-it. mag testing dayun ko ani as soon as ma-uli ko. maayu unta tinuod ni nga change oi.

sa tinuod lang, maski 0.6mbps malipay nako. dili lang gyud tawn 0.05mbps kay mas hinay pa na sa dial-up sa panahun sa PhilWorld ug MozCom, hehe.

gi-ingnan bitaw nako na "assemble ko og 3rd pc nya kung maprove ni nako na ang inyong router or base station ang naay problema, ilabay ni nako ang share-it sa inyo manager sa wireless center?" dali dali kabalibad ang hotline supervisor.

so far 2day bro ok ra jud ako connection wa nko ka kuha ug 0.10Mbps or below nga speedtest mau unta pirme nani.. hope so...ehehehehe..

dako jud ang tabang sa forum na ni kay collective ato pag reklamo nag dungan ta tanan.......

ni change naman sad ang IP pag test nako mga boss karun lang. ang speed ni arang-arang gamay, 0.3 mbps.

pero ang ping response perteng grabeha ka lag! lapas 1 second ang ping response gud!



Location nako ani nga test is Naga. Signal LED is green (or 90% to 100% signal strength), Mode LED is blue, meaning coverage is HSPA or 3.5G.

Cell site, makita ra nako inig-panambo nako sa akong bintana - about 200 to 300 meters away.

i tested the speed again 45 minutes after i made the previous tests - and i almost fell off my seat!



if we can achieve speeds like this, then this should prove once and for all that there's no problem with our locations, and there's no problem with our share-it routers. the problem is with congested proxy servers that Smart use as outgoing proxy servers for all share-it subscribers from Lapu-Lapu City to Toledo City.


biggie9385: kung nisugot ang CS rep boss nga imong ilabay nila ang router kung ma prove nimo nga dili router ang problema, aw malabayan na gyud unta nimo sila.


swu2009, asa imong location boss? and can you also post the ip address that was recognized by speedtest.net?

on it's second day na nga mau ang connection puro 1Mbps point something ako speed tests usahay 2 point something pud.. nara man diay ni mao ni atong g.pangita pero ambot lang kaha bacin g.palami.an ra tas taga smart ani kalit ra pud cguro ni ug kawagtang mag.ampo ta ni bro mga bros.. . ehehehe..

update sad nako: 1.58Mb/s ang speed, same IP address as above, same location sad ko nga Naga, unya ang time nga nag test ko kay 11:20AM.
