the small cage can accomodate 2 but you may need a bigger cage when they start to breed. (if you don't intend to breed them, 2 males can be kept together if these were kept together since they were young)
. if available from the supplier, the small cage is about P200 (complete with exercise wheel, water bottle and feeding tray)
will try to confirm if a panda color is available... so hard to produce that
... anyway, i'll be back from vacation by january 5
try the cup technique. place a 12-16 oz plastic softdrink cup in front of the hamster
. it will enter the cup due to its natural curiosity
. when it is inside, get the cup and gently dump the hamster on your fully open palm
(tips to lower the bite risk: a fully open palm has less folds than a slightly closed palm
; avoid placing the hamster on the fingertips
; avoid placing your fingertips in front of the hamster's face
)
try to hold them daily so that they can get used to being handled
glad to hear that you are enjoying your cute pets. they really know when you are around
. they usually stand in their cages (as if wanting to be handled)
. give them about 1-2 months and they may be ready for breeding
if they are getting picky with their food, maybe the food is a bit in excess. you may want to try to reduce the amount of food that you give daily
yes, will be back by january 5. sorry to hear about your hamster
. will confirm the available colors when i get back
. pm to be sent after this
