There used to be a software called ChilisoftASP which lets you run ASP scripts on Apache, therefore ASP on Linux and Mac. I say "used to be" kay wala na koy makita sa ilang website karon. I guess ASP's evolution to .NET killed them... anyway, what i did was get one of those small Asus laptops and set it up as a web server. linux/php lang akoa pero pwede gihapon kung windows/asp imo gusto.

yup, sanggano boy is correct. if you want to master php then you should have a background in c/c++ then in asp you should have background in visual basic....
actually with classic ASP you can also use javascript which, like php, has a C feel to it. sa ASP.NET you can use any .NET language
