Dumaguete, what's there and how to get there?

For me, what Dumaguete needs is a bookshop. something like that of National Bookstore. The city has 4 universities and a number of colleges ( a university town)...but not a major bookstore. Most students would still have to go to Cebu to buy books.

I'll be gping to Dumaguete at the end of the week. which is better? going to Bais to go Whale watching or to snorkel in Apo Island?

i would suggest u do the latter. kay kung mag-whale watching ka, there are times na wala whales na manggawas... pero sometimes lang nuon. so para sure na enjoy ka, apo island na lang!

mga sir, if I decide to go Snorkeling in Apo, paano ko pwde gawin 'to? Any contacts you can give me? The thing is, 2 lang kami ng GF ko pupunta dyan. I asked for a snorkeling package there and it would cost like 3.5K/ per person kung 2 lang kami. If mga 4, it goes down to 1,700 each. help help please

Robinsons Department Store will be opening soon in Dumaguete. They are targetting a start in December, I guess construction is now on going... BPO company Teletech will also be locating on this building with around 500 seats.
