this is what i observed during one of my taxi rides, i was able to ride a toyota vios nga taxi kanang bag-o na model sa vios ha, just like anang yellow taxis..i noticed on the dash sa instrument panel ang ang oil, transmission and 2 more indicators stays lit up, normally ma pawng mana after mo andar. so i asked the driver what happened considering its typically brand new car, a lit up indicator means something wrong..the driver answered gi tang-tang man gud ang transmission gearbox ani boss nya wala ma tarong ug balik..

here is my point:
a new car has 3 year warranty, if there is something wrong the operator/owner should have bought it to toyota for repairs, their techs are expert on their vehicles, so how come wala man ma uli sa original state ang transmission box as manifested by the lit up indicqators, so meaning it was done by an un-authorized mechanic who isnt familiar with the latest engine design..so i was suspecting that something is installed in the transmission box para madaya ang meter reading....have you noticed na grabe maka pa accelerate nang mga taxi drivers even on busy roads hala bira gihapon, dili man ta na inoras ilaha..so my interpretation is that the more the transmission turns fast due to fast acceleration, the more sad mo tuyok ang metro...

sa tanan taxi.. ken jud ang makasaligan.. whether its a new or old unit.. sak2 jud ang metro... ako mas mu prefer gani ko musakay ug mga new taxi units kesa sa mga karaan kay murag kasagaran karaan nga unit ako masakyan kay paspas kaayo mupatak ang metro... pero sa ken accurate tanan meters
