in my own opinion, there is no such thing as a strong relationship...each relationship has it's own strengths and weaknesses...keeping a relationship going is an unending effort of keeping the flame burning...dpende jd na sa taw since lahi2 jd ang panghuna2 sa taw..

IMHO:
1. We always have a "quality time" with each other everyday, go on date once in a while.
2. We talk everyday, since different among time zone, and LDR for a year na, We talked when she arrives home from work and that's the time i woke up, and when i arrived from work, that's the time she woke up, so we have a lot to talk about what happened in our day. but when kato kuyog pa mi, at morning, we talked about anything in the morning before going to work, then after work, we talk again. just like friends.
3. we trust each other, i let her go out with her friend and me with my friends, never checked both phones/email unless asked, coz that will give us a little privacy.
4. we visit wach others parents once in a while, like now, im not home for christmas, so she went sa balay to be with my family
5. when there's a misunderstanding, we dont allow dili ma resolve in the night. If one of us need space, then we don;t allow to pass 3 days without talking. after everything is resolved then we talked about it, what happened, and what to do to prevent it from happening again.

I miss her so badly, 1+ year na mi LDR, but saw her 6 months ago. i will see her next year, and it'll be in church, soon. So far, with those things, 6 years na mi, never had an issue regarding 3rd party and i'm a bit proud of that.
