USB to SATA/IDE Cable - Detected but didn't show in My Computer, need help!

if you're pretty sure na di guba imong cable/converter/HDD. duha ra ang culprit ana.

1: underpowered imong HDD
2: way partition imong HDD

well it cant be under powered since it has it's own power and you can tell by feeling the turning of the HD when touching it, there is a data inside it so i can assure nga it has partitioned and been formatted, my suspect is that the os is not really supporting this one, or anything nga generic w/c usually kanang gikan sa china...

well i see if this will worked on XP... to confirmed my theory...

yes as of my xperience nga madetect sya pero d u makita sa my computer..im using xp noon.wat i did was nigamit ko ug hdd test utility...ky madatect man sya ako lng gpa scan...then na ok.....makita na my computer ug maopen na ko.

Permi ko naka encounter ani nga case. Nakabutang pa gani device is ready to use pero wala nakabutang sa my computer. Ang akong gibuhat "e-change ang jumper settings kay posibly conflict mao dili ma detect". I'm not sure kong sakto ba jud ko technically pero mao ra jud na maka solve sa problema. Applicable ra ni kong SATA gipang gamit nya naay IDE devices gi salpak.

i don't think it's a defective HDD coz if it was Windows would complain "HARD DISK FAILURE". I believe it's an OS problem. You're currently using windows 7 and so am I. Sadly, I dont have a Hard Disk to USB converter so di ko ka tisting. Hmmmmm.... Try it on an XP.

well there was am instruction to set it to master mode, however, the same brand but different model nako sauna wala naman ko nag set niya for master mode.... try later if naa nako jumper nawagtang ako mga jumper...

same thing with xp home... it was not found on my computer

Usb powered ra na bro? Or naa cya kaugalingon power direct from outlet? Kung usb powerd, try daw gamit ug cable nga kanang duha kabuok ang imo ipaslak s pc, padugang ug power man na ang extra.
