no you have to air your opinion, why do you think that it's not the same? maybe we can learn from you, wisdom comes in different forms. I got a feeling that you know something that the rest of us don't. kindly share your opinion.

your hearts know in silence the secrets of the days and the nights.

but your ears thirst for the sound of your heart's knowledge.

you would know in words that which you have always known in thought.

sometimes we think so highly that we thought we already have known our true self when in fact what we know are based only in the books we read.

book imbibers are so quick to say this is the right way or that is the right way but in reality they are blinded by their false realization taken from the books they read.

the only way towards knowing our true self is being it and is achieve through meditation. Books can never give you the experience, yes it can describe the experience for you but never can give you the actual experience.

Mystics in India and Tibet spend less time finding their true self in books instead they give more time in meditation.

what's the point? two things: 1) the best people who are qualified to teach us and describe for us our true nature are those who themselves are illumined. 2) if you want to truly know yourself stop reading books about it and start meditating, if you are too lazy to meditate then stop being lazy and make your effort.

these are reminders to those who are really serious in their study in mysticism and esoteric studies.

let me describe something...if you want to learn Astral projection, where do you want to go? to someone who can perform astral projection or to someone who can't and takes his theory only from books? if you are wise you would go for the person who can actually perform astral projection or books written by people who had experience such feat. but don't stop there you must experience it for yourself too, so you can verify for yourself the truthfulness of such metaphysical phenomena.

^wow! naay gipatamaan. christmas season pa naman...tsk tsk tsk...back to barracks?

but i agree with you bro, knowledge without transformation is not wisdom. taken from another book and the cause of so much frustration

you talked about AP. can you do it? at will? is there really a silver chord? is astral time same as ours? or is time an illusion in the astral? are there astral temples? do you feel strong vibrations prior to projection? what makes you think you are projecting and not dreaming?

gipatamaan? mao ni kapaet ninyo diri mga malisyoso mo og otok. I merely gave my own opinion since this thread is about knowing yourself, there is much confusion as to how is this realized? I as a practical student of mysticism have observe that much of the students are dependent on books and neglected the practical approach w/c is meditation. it's not a patama but sort of reminder. Now kong naa man gani ninyo diri that fits sa akong description then I ask for apology but it was not meant as patama ninyo.

The mentioned of Astral Projection was meant for illustration.

there is no silver cord. there are astral temples.
