^ @etienne, plano bya unta nako'g mubasa sa The Silent Cry ni Kenzaburo Oe karon buwana but epostpone lang sa nako for now kay basi'g maguol pa ko nga holidays pa raba karon panahona. kadungog man gud ko nga grabe jud kuno ka-depressing nang novel-la. gamahay gani ko'g gamay -- gamay lang -- nga nganong nibasa ko lately sa Olive Kitteridge ni Elizabeth Strout nga grabe man diay sad makaluya emotionally sa akoa. naka-Pulitzer Prize ang Olive Kitteridge, which it probably rightfully deserves. i mean how it's written -- yes, there's something serene, there's a beautiful calmness about the story, but, grabeha jud oi nawagtangan jud ko'g energy human og basa.

sakto jud ka. its my first time reading a kenzaburo. the book i bought has four of his short novels. at first i started reading The Day He Himself Shall Wipe My Tears Away, but after a few pages, i decided to postpone it nalang kay its so depressing murag di bagay basahon karon pasko plus lisod sha basahon, semi libog. the story is about a man lying in a hospital bed waiting to die of liver cancer or (some less serious liver illness). so i read Prize Stock nalang.
