    don't confuse your emotion as a sign of God's presence.
    You do not give reverence and respectfully ask the one who created all that is in your life. If you just continue to just joke, scoff, and resist him; than you may never experience him. To persist in defiant behavior one would have to ask. why would he want me? Why would he need me? What would he owe a disrespectful child?

    Fortunately God accepts all those who accept he, including those more defiant than you, if only they ask him the right way. God does not do parlor tricks for spoiled children, but he does do house calls for those that respect.

    God will love you even if as you hate him.

    This philosophical question had been discussed before and the primary position of the believers is that order in nature itself is more than enough proof of the existence of a supreme being who orchestrated everything. The universe didn't came up by mere chance.

    Sure, this is very hard to understand especially to the non-intellectuals who's idea if evidence is limited only to something that we can eat, drink, hear, see and smell.

    Reply to bcasabee,
    I would say we have gone toe to toe several times but he unlike other members will try be fair and balanced and always try to present variable sources and references with his debates. We have even been insulting towards each other more times than I can remember but in the end we always seem to find respectful common ground. Tukes is not vindictive and he have a forgiving nature because he never holds a grudge. He haves my utmost respect also. He possess moral character. Of course I will deny this latter.

    To chad_tukes,
    Does not mean I do not thing you are wrong, but I think your parents raised you right. There is hope for you yet. For a young Liberal Militant Atheist you are alright.

    As we use to say in the Corps: You are a scholar and a Gentlemen;
    but i will keep it a secret, because I know you have a reputation to up hold.

    isn't it quite irrational to conclude that God created everything just because there is order and harmony in everything you see? isn't it more rational to weigh empirical evidence and examine raw facts as hard as we can, before concluding something we are not even sure of?

    BUT...where is this so called God? The origin of the universe cannot be limited to only one source the possibilities are endless.

    are you implying that spirits or somethings beyond matter are now admissible evidence? try telling that to a court judge.

    Ok, what empirical evidence and raw facts that you are talking about and I will try to weighed it myself. If there is none then your statement is as good as moot.
