Because your laptop hardware kay pang Vista/Win7, just like what I did with my HP Pavilion di siya pwedi mo downgrade to XP bisan fresh format pa, Blue Screen dyud.

Back to Vista nalang bro, ayaw nalang sunod anang uso sa Win7 kay puro pana bugs/incompatibility.

guyz sa mga nkasulay ug windows 7 sa cq40-108tu, dili jd xa ma fullscreen? knanang naa juy black bars left and right sa inyong screen while playing Warcraft and Counterstrike? mao pa lang na akong nasulayan na game karon nag windows 7 koh... sa mga naay idea unsaon ni pag downgrade ug windows xp, pde patudlo ninyo? ug mangayo pd ta q sa mga drivers... salamat daan guyz! more power...

You have a widescreen LCD. FYI, some games don't have support for the wide screen resolutions unless you download updates for your games.

IT could also be the other way around, the current resolution of your game for example Warcraft and CS is 1280x1024....that wont display right on your laptop, because your lappy's maximum resolution is 1280x800.

P.S. If you have the "Colon" version of Warcraft and CS, I doubt you can update them through Blizzard's or Steam's servers.

bro mag blue screen na cya coz sata imo hdd, sometimes gani dili jud ma detect sa XP ang sata nga hdd. try to use external floppy para driver sa sata bro then press f6 while nag load ang win xp nga cd. Mka download ka sata driver sa hp website bro.
