    nice article.

but the author did fail to mention the out-of-the-browser experience for both technologies which is for me an important factor when developing enterprise applications specifically on the Business Applications side for RIA.

SL3 has the out of the browser installation through clickOnce. One advantage of SL3 over Flex is that SL is running sandboxed out of the browser, while Flex is not.

Although SL3 doesn't run yet on all browsers specifically the Chrome, but SL4 definitely will

What do you mean by "out of the browser installation"?
If you mean a desktop version of a SilverLight application then FLEX has AIR.
And how does a "out of the browser sandbox" differ from an "in-browser sandbox"? ... it is still a sandbox.

Enterprise Application? I've heard SAP and Oracle is using FLEX.
