    Peace!

yeah, those are very high ideals.. murag daghan dili makapasar ana bro.. sa words lng daan.. mga religious people are prone to condemning others, and palaban pa jud sa Ginoo sa ilang pagcondemn..

always as a religious man's deeds can be ascribed as manifestation of how he would devout himself towards GOD, the shortcoming comes from the way he interprets and impose what he believe, entailing conflicts that his mind created.

Yup sakto gyud ka bro, as always model man gyud na nato what is ideal, but sometimes the standard is so challenging nga gamay ra gyud ang maka-abot, but it's always there to be availed....

In the context of war my basis is of course the classic and ancient book The Art of War. You know why? because it has bee proven from time to time that in war, those who were victorious are ten time more stronger than their enemies in terms of numbers and weapons. Now can you defy that with Logic with scientific basis?

So, in the context of war, GOD is on the side of the most number of soldiers and most weapons especially in WW I and WWII

God is always on the side of the big battalions. - VOLTAIRE

Cf. [1673 Mme de Sévigné Letter 22 Dec.] la fortune est toujours, comme disait le pauvre M. de Turenne, pour les gros bataillons, fortune is always, as poor Mr. de Turenne used to say, for the big battalions.

Heaven was ever found favourable to strong battalions.
    [1822 A. Graydon Memoirs v.]
Providence was always on the side of dense battalions.
    [1842 A. Allison Hist. Europe X. lxxviii.]
Someone has observed that Providence is always on the side of the big dividends.
    [1904 ‘Saki’ Reginald 63]
Our statesmen‥ought to have learned years ago that Providence is always on the side of the big battalions.
[1943 R. A. J. Walling Corpse by any Other Name iii.]
Many thousands more voices now are raised in the name of sanity. But I dare say God is still on the side of the big battalions.
    [1979 Guardian 9 July 9]
Related to: great and small; providence

    all in due time..

so, i guess i'll just ignore some religious people who sometimes claim that God is on "their side".. panagsa-ay ra jud kaau ko maka-tuo kung naa musulti ana.. labi na kanang magpalaban dayon..

anyway, thank you very much for sharing your insights..
