para sa new generation of course..

if the new set of would-be followers are smarter than the previous, ud have to revise to keep fresh set of followers in line.. otherwise, mu-decline jud na imong population of followers over time..

prehas ra man na sa logic atong revise ug kanta nagipost above.. if ipa-tukar na nimo ang karaan, daghan kaau musulti na karaan na.. pero i-revive na, dba, mu-hit na pud na na kanta sa new generation..

but like the post above also, there's nothing wrong with revision.. the only problem is kung ma-usab jud ang contents.. lisod na ang lost in translation gud.. basta religion ang istoryahan, daghan kaau lalis ug debate.. kung sa kanta pa, copyright issues ang lalis ani.. hehe

I think what the thread poster meant is the use of the Nicene Creed in the Holy Mass. this is another move by the traditionalist Pope Benedict XVI. but personally, i like the Nicene Creed better because it expounds the nature of God according to the Early Church Fathers.

The Nicene Creed is the original Creed used by the Early Christians and was written during the Council of Nicea, a council that is wrought with controversy due to some "allegations" for which i make no apology or defense, that the Christian Bishops of old expunged or deleted some portions of the Scriptures as well as hidden many "Gospels" which are now known as the Gnostic Gospels found in Nag Hammadi.

you should read the Nicene Creed, it expresses the core of the Christian faith. if you are a true Christian, someone who is open to Truth, you will also explore the Gnostic Gospels, Aquarian Gospel, and other ancient writings. you compare this to what you have read and learned from your Church. and then find the Truth.

It was revised just like GOD (cruel in the old testament) and now GOD is good all the time (new testament) hehehe
