Yes, ratings for the 2nd season was considerably lower compared to the first season, and don't worry, if you haven't watched the 2nd season, you're not missing anything. Actually, you are fortunate since you were not able to witness Kyoani's trolling.

The reason why the Haruhi franchise is still popular is because of Nagato Yuki. hmm... what's the name of the main character of the show again? Ha-who-hi?

Haruhi x Kyonko appeals to me more.. :3

Kyonko needs to be an official character, replacing that Ha-who-hi character.
