All Christian Churches read the same book, and God's rules are God's rules. My facts are the words written in the Bible. Nice hit from someone who claims to be an Atheist.
and your church is the holiest of them all
I have no church, I just read the Bible for myself. I am sorry that your immense intellect can not grasp that. Maybe if you open your eyes, open your ears, open your heart, and close the mouth, and shelve the bad attitude for a while, you could learn something life inspiring. I read the Bible for MYSELF, I am not foolish and let others try to tell me what they think is in the scripture. I look and read it for myself. The scripture is Holy and that is what I follow.
and you were appointed to be a judge over them by whom? Are you perfect?
As a Christian yes I do have the right to judge the churches that corrupt and twist the minds of their follows, making their paths to salvation harder.
Me perfect? No, I am the most flawed of beings, less than a bug, and struggling not to have the morals of a dog. You judged all followers of Christ as murders on your closed thread, and now you are judging me? Priceless.
not all churches will agree on you about tithing.
Well DAH!!! They do not want to lose their cash cow. That is sort of the point. News flash: Tithes were never ever coins. They were only from the overabundant harvest and herd, and they were always the last tenth and never the first tenth. The Bible explains that. But you knowledge of the Bible far exceeds mine so please show me the scriptures where God allows the Church to demand your tithes.
can we just go straight to the topic and stop preaching.
Well since I was responding to another member's direct question to me. Thank you for showing your obvious respect and class by busting in our conversation, insulting me, and trying to jack this thread. Very nice. Wow I thought the topic was about the Bible. If I am wrong then please enlighten me with your hidden knowledge and profound understanding of the text. If I am right with my assessment of the text, then what is the point of your objection? Just to start a provocation?
