Today is Sunday, a weekend, but it feels like it is still weekdays to me, like the day is no different than any other day..at least at work.
Can't wait for 23rd or the 24th at least I will have my long vacation? hahaha...I am not really sure as we still need to be at work for the 29th and I am really hopin that the boss will just let us have a vacation and be back at work on the 29th then..on Jan. 04. ^_^
I am already picturing myself, in the province or in the island, by the beach, or just at home sleepin, having dvd marathon and just goofing around with my niece or probably baby sitting my 2 month old cousin.. I miss home. ^_^
There is a Sunday service, a tournament & a party but what really touches me the most are the janitorial services of the building, coz even though they don't get paid on time they still do their work diligently, they keep the building clean, even if they always hear complain from the client or the guest. ^_^ And sometimes they are accused of stealing & stuff from people who doesn't know them and has not worked with them for so long. I really feel for them. ^_^
And honestly I am a bit ashamed coz even if I am working long hours, like 15 hours day (of course it is with OT pay, a free meal & a transpo allowance & No. I am not working in a call center ^_^) I still complain and my work is much easier than what they do or at least I think. coz I am just inside the office doing a white collared job while they are outside, cleaning the whole building, sometimes they get rained on other times they don't mind the heat..
Often times we complain on a lot of things without even thinking how lucky we are to be where we are. ^_^
For example; we complain or we look for other food even if there are already food in the table, just because we just feel like eating the food we crave than the one being served at home, without knowing that other people out there need to pick up trash (plastic, papers, scrap metals) or worst turned the trash bin upside down just to check if there's still food/spoil food left. TT_TT just for them to eat.
Same with the clothes, shoes, bags & other gadgets that we bought out of caprices. (Okey I understand that it is also our way of saying to our self "hey. you did a good job & here is your reward ^_^)
I think I am feeling melodramatic again.. lol.. I am just ranting, but hey that's how I am feelin right now.. ^_^
