I think (my opinion) the cause of this economic downturn is due to our political instability... eversince the time Erap sitted as the presidency, theres no stop on political war between two camps of balimbings... and thats scaring investors. Without investors, no jobs created plus every year, many students graduates and that alone added the unemployment data... All I can say, its politics making our downturn of our economy... not just certain person or persons... look at Ramos administrations, a lot of corruption was happening on his time but nobody dare to comfront him coz of his strong political machinery... and we have a shot of having economic boom.... now, theres no one who can take hold a strong hold of our government.... everyone wants the highest power of the land and thats why we have this problem...Originally Posted by FK

I agree on what Ramos did, but the downturn really started on Marcos' time, before him 2nd rata sa Japan unta...
will as one forumer here said... that if there are indeed evidences against GMA... they will do all they can to let it out.
OPPONENTS of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo have set up a "people's court" that will try her for alleged election fraud and corruption.
"This will not be a kangaroo court… It will be a people's court, fair, and square, for the people and by the people," said former vice president Teofisto Guingona, one of the organizers of Citizen's Congress for Truth and Accountability (CCTA) during its launching Tuesday at the municipality of San Juan.
The CCTA will set up the "people's court," Guingona said.
"Since we do it for the public, we in turn ask for the public's support… We will act faithfully."
The court's members or "presidium" will be composed of "independent and fair-minded individuals," said University of the Philippines (UP) history professor Maria Serena Diokno, a convenor of the CCTA.
This Randy boy is skirting the issue. Now that you answered him he suddenly sings a different tune. He shifts to the topic about the constitution. SHifting one issue to another to avoid being trapped.Originally Posted by randy111979

Federalism is good especially to those provinces who are already progressive,
hahay... kinahanglan pa ba i-memorize yan? Kong gi-offeran ka og trabaho dili ka mo dawat... nya later on mahibaw-an nimo ang imo nga way klaro dili ka mo resign?Defensor also assailed the participation of former Vice President Teofisto Guingona in the people's court.
"If he really felt that way, why did he accept being ambassador to China, in the first place, and then turn around, calling for the President's resignation when the going got rough with [her]?" Defensor said.
