I've read that this has been suggested by lady_ren a year ago, when the CIO-AMAGE was still in its early stages. Two members have brought this idea up, and I wonder what anyone thinks about it?

If its gonna be before ozine fest and there'll be at least quite some people who's gonna go, then me (and probably some of my folks) are gonna go as vizards. *fails at making masks, anyway back to failing at it.*

@halcyon: when is ozine fest exactly? Anyway, we can just recycle costumes for sinulog. there's no competition anyway. I think Ozine Fest will not materialize within the next two months given that they have no updates posted. I hope they won't pull something like the Grand Cosplay Summit that made everything last-minute though so people could prepare, but it doesn't hurt to recycle... IMO.

I dunno when, that's why I'm getting stuffs ready even if they haven't announced the date, but it'd be a lot better if it's gonna be after christmas (you know what I mean :3) that way, we'll be able to prepare a lot more (aaaaaaaaaaaaargh, i still can't make a paper mache mask)
And yes I agree about recycling costumes, there isn't anything wrong with that.
But you guys (with those clubs/orgs) should really plan about this one and make it organized, that way, there'll be more people who are gonna go and stuff, and with this, more cebuanos will know about cosplaying (and anime/manga) so it's like promoting it during sinulug, which would be great. (well that's from my pov.)

Imagine what would be the results of that, surely there should be at least some impact to our fellow anime/manga fans if we're gonna do this, just like what happened to me (went to hobcon at parkmall, and just before I realized it, I've been costripping already)
And its probably gonna open the minds of people who thinks that bleach/naruto/one piece are the only anime on this planet.
