We were in Dumaguete during the second week of April last the holy week in Bajura Spa resort in Daiun its like 30-minute drive away from the city going north.. it was the best experience..Now I have questions to the folks of dgmt I really wanted to move there (my long term plan) and I need to know on what is the buying behavior of the people down there.. I have known that the Silliman University has a lot of students and I'm trying to check on what would be the best target market just in case we will open for business there or maybe find a good business partner
1. Are they fashionable? I mean do they buy new stuff (electronics, accesories, clothes ect in weekly, monthly.. how frequent?
2. Do they go out to eat? like go to restaurant once a week if not daily? or do they prefer to stay at home and eat "lutong bahay".. they they go out in the bar? if yes what kind of bar do you have to have in Dumaguete?
3. I also observed that you can make a tour in dgmt city using a motorcycle and I don't see alot of automobiles running around versus motorcycles and tricycles.. dew you think the tricycle will still dominate as the public transport in dgmt in the next 5 to 10 years? do you think it will eventually change into jeepney of buses?
4. Do you think people there will buy high properties? like for example if there will be a high end community or villages to be developed which is the best area in Dumagete?
I hope you can highlight me on these questions back in my headand btw this thread is open for any topic anyway..
Thanks you.
