    ako duda ani na problem, hinay ang power sa kuryenta sa inyong balay. everytime magplug ka sa electric fan, makuhaan ug gamay na power imong computer.. naa ka USB device na gitaud sa imo computer bro, (Flashdisk, mouse, keyboard, webcam, printer, etc)? basin kun mopansak ka sa fan, murag maremove tong usb device na naa nimo tungod sa hinay ang kuryente, nya basin mobalik ra sad dayon.. duda lang nako.. hehe.. try daw bro, tangtang tanang USB device nya ipansak ang electric fan ug balik kun motingog pa ba ang kadtong sound?

    electric fan is an appliance driven my motor, so inductive cya. motors recquires a lot of power during start-up compared to power needed during operation... so they cause tiny flactuations called surges on the system or in your case sa power strip nimo when they start. since puter is a very sensitive device its not advisable to put them in a power strip with other appliances esp. electric fans. cause usb is powered by only 5 volts and usbs' are prone to be the victims of surges.

    Thanks for the explanations. lol.

    I've tried unplugging all USB devices etc.. but still it plays that sound. I've already been ridiculed and laughed at by my friends because of this. Damn Fan... ruining my life.

    Anyway, I think I'll buy an UPS and see.

    @TS, basta ayaw jud kalimti nga before nimo ibtun ang imong electric fan dapat imo sa e-safely remove ha, para dili madaot.....
