Yah lah ...its cheap in SG but like most people agree the difference is not that much.

Bitaw yes you can check the pricing in ClubSnap forums. If your going to buy in SG try to researching first. There are alot of respective sellers. But beware lang pod kay I saw some people being ripped off before kadtong dli kaayo sweto bitaw ug mga maro pod ng mga Singaporeans kung bal-an ka na tourist

For me I don't expect much in freebies cause last time I bought a Nikon Coolpix in the IT show. They gave me a 2GB SD, Desktop Tripod and Screen protector. Heheh, the Desktop tripod got broken and very flimsy using it. The Screen Protector overtime needs replacing kay its starting to ripped on the sides. The 2GB has problems kay usahay ma corrupt akong images ug usahay dli kabasa akong cam, I end up buying a scandisk which is very reliable. Swerte2x lang gyud ka kung kakuha ka ug nice deal.

tips lang when buying gadgets here sa SG esp DSLRs
research sa online sa mga prices at least familiar how should it cost
then beware nalang esp sa mga stores (SimLim, Funan. etc) nga walay fixed price tag kay usually mark up
ana nila daan costing more than its real store price then, as if, mu go down dayon sila sa presyo
making it sounda discount or more like an "offer" you could not refuse

know what to buy and pag andam ug kwarta or mura'g "showmoney" pud nga sakto ra sa presyo ur expecting for that certain item. pakit-a sila mao ra na imo dala nga kwarta and at least pud dili sab grabi ka layo sa real price..ang2x man pud ang real price is S$100 nya imo pakit-on ug S$50 ma offended na hinuon.

basta ayaw padala sa ilang "bagsak2x" sa presyo

but I bet most of you people knew this already.
just in case lang sa wala kahibalo

it's cheaper in singapore but you must be good in haggling and must have knowledge of the item you want (pricewise). don't let anyone buy it for you especially tourist with no idea about photography coz you'll end up paying more than PI price. experienced it and regretted.
